Privacy Policy

MakersMath is a collection of free calculators that run entirely in your web browser. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use the site — what stays on your device, what the site does not collect, and where third parties are involved.

Effective date: 14 July 2026 · Last updated: 14 July 2026

The short version

The numbers you type into a calculator never leave your browser — they are not sent to us, not stored, and not shared. MakersMath does not set its own cookies, does not run analytics, and has no accounts or logins. The site does load a few third-party services (web fonts and, in preparation for advertising, Google's ad script), and it will carry ads and affiliate links as it grows. Those third parties have their own data practices, described below.

Who runs this site

MakersMath ("we", "us", or "the site") operates at makers-math.com. The site is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare Pages. There is no database of visitors and no sign-up.

Calculator inputs: what you type stays with you

Every calculator on MakersMath runs as JavaScript inside your own browser. When you enter measurements, weights, prices, or any other values, the calculation happens on your device. Those inputs are:

We do not use cookies, local storage, or similar techniques to remember your inputs or identify you. If you copy or print a result, that action happens locally in your browser.

Information the site itself does not collect

MakersMath does not ask for, and does not collect, personal information such as your name, email address, or account details. We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Any technical data about your visit that exists is handled by the third parties described in the next sections, not gathered by us directly.

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts and content delivery networks, our host may automatically process standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to deliver the site, defend against abuse, and keep the service reliable and secure. This processing is carried out by the hosting provider under its own policies, and we do not use that data to identify individual visitors.

Third-party services we load

Web fonts

Pages use Google Fonts to display their typefaces. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google may receive your IP address and standard request information. This is used to serve the fonts; see Google's privacy policy for how Google handles such data.

Advertising script

In preparation for displaying advertising, pages currently include Google's advertising script (Google AdSense). At the time of writing, no ad units are shown on the site, but the script is present. Once advertising is active — and in some cases simply because the script loads — Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies, and may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and interactions with ads, in order to serve and measure advertising, including personalized ads where permitted. We describe advertising in more detail below.

Advertising and affiliate links

MakersMath is supported by advertising and affiliate arrangements. This section is written to cover advertising networks and affiliate programs generally, including any we add in the future, so the policy stays accurate as the site's monetization evolves.

Advertising networks

We may display ads served by third-party advertising networks, currently including Google (through AdSense and its associated services). These networks, and their own partners, may set and read cookies or use similar technologies on your device to show and measure ads and, where allowed, to personalize them based on your activity across sites over time. We do not control the data these networks collect or how they use it; that is governed by each network's own privacy policy.

You can learn about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage your ad personalization settings, through Google's own tools (for example, its "Ads Settings" and "How Google uses information" pages). Where the law requires it — for instance for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — a consent prompt may ask for your choices about personalized advertising before such ads are shown, and you can change those choices later.

Affiliate links

Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The merchant or affiliate program you are sent to may use cookies to attribute the referral and will process any purchase according to its own privacy policy. Affiliate links do not change the price you pay.

Amazon Associates disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

MakersMath is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. When Amazon affiliate links are present, purchases you make after clicking them may earn us a commission at no additional cost to you. Amazon uses cookies to attribute qualifying purchases; Amazon's handling of your data is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice. (This disclosure is published in advance; Amazon affiliate links may not yet be active on the site.)

Cookies

MakersMath does not set any cookies of its own. Cookies or similar technologies that may appear while using the site come from the third-party services described above — principally advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and, where offered, through the consent and ad-settings tools mentioned above. Blocking cookies will not stop the calculators from working, since they do not rely on cookies.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through any feature of the site, please contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

Because the calculators collect nothing and we run no tracking of our own, there is no account to manage or personal data held by us to access or delete. Your main controls are your browser's cookie and privacy settings, the ad-personalization tools offered by advertising providers, and any consent prompt shown where required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, when advertising or affiliate programs are turned on, or when we add new third-party services. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be reflected here. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
